Compania-1 is made from two different Bordeaux bottles. The base is green and the top portion is clear and from a bottle with a very long slender neck. Very unique.
Compania-2 is made from a single Bordeaux style wine bottle. It is available made from a clear, green, or amber colored bottle.

One of the first products we made were drinking glasses or tumblers from wine bottles - the kind you can buy from hundreds of other vendors on the web. At the end of the day we had all these top portions of bottles left over which we hated to see end up in the recycling bin. This product is a result of our quest to make use of those extra pieces. It takes a bit of measuring and trial & error to get it just right, but we thought the result was kind of cool and can stand on it's own as a righteous product. The bottle is sectioned in such a way that the shoulder rests on the cut and polished rim of the base simultaneous with the top lip of the bottle resting on the punt ( the large dimple at the bottom of the wine bottle). The top and base are bonded together and a clear glass tealight candle holder is bonded into the interior of the upper portion.
