This piece is rather unique. We start with a Bordeaux style bottle and cut off the facial third. Then two very small holes are drilled into the neck just below the thick ring at the top of the bottle. A small stainless steel wire is run between the holes to support the hanging mechanism for the copper wire holding the votive. A glass ball is added to the base of the votive to enhance the esthetics. This piece to made to sit on a table or other flat surface.
