We offer this product with a bit of hesitation. Many of us feel this is still in the prototype stage as we don't quite feel we have perfected it's design. We love the concept of the hanging oyster cup tea light holder but something about it just doesn't jive with our vision. Anyway, we're not quite settled with Calabria as it is and we welcome your criticism and advice.
We experimented with a number of different methods of hanging a tealight within a cut wine bottle before deciding on the calabria design. For this piece, after we cut and polish a wine bottle, we precision drill three holes in the body of the sidewall. Small stainless steel wires are threaded through these holes to support a braided stainless steel ring. This then holds a stock oyster style tealight candle holder.
